🎉 Bring A Friend Week: March 23–28! 🎉

We’re excited to open our doors for Bring A Friend Week! From March 23 to March 28, athletes are invited to bring a friend along to any class they’re attending during the week.

👯 You can bring the same friend to every class or a different friend each time—whatever works best! It’s a great opportunity to get sweaty with your closest mates and show off what training at PhysEd is all about.

If you’re planning to bring someone, please let me know in advance if possible so we can make sure everything runs smoothly.

Open 26.3 Has Arrived 🔥

The final test of the 2026 Open is here. Open Workout 26.3 is the last chance to leave it all on the floor and close out this year’s Open strong.

This workout is a true grind: repeated burpees over the bar paired with cleans and thrusters, while the barbell weight increases each section. The challenge is simple — manage your engine, stay efficient on the barbell, and keep moving for the full 16 minutes.

Open Workout 26.3

For Time:

2 rounds of:

  • 12 Burpees Over the Bar
  • 12 Cleans (Weight 1)
  • 12 Burpees Over the Bar
  • 12 Thrusters (Weight 1)

2 rounds of:

  • 12 Burpees Over the Bar
  • 12 Cleans (Weight 2)
  • 12 Burpees Over the Bar
  • 12 Thrusters (Weight 2)

2 rounds of:

  • 12 Burpees Over the Bar
  • 12 Cleans (Weight 3)
  • 12 Burpees Over the Bar
  • 12 Thrusters (Weight 3)

Time Cap: 16 minutes

♀ Rx: 30, 35, 37.5 kg
♂ Rx: 40, 50, 60 kg
♀ Scaled: 20, 25, 30 kg
♂ Scaled: 30, 40, 45kg

The Workout

For time:

  • 24m dumbbell overhead walking lunge
  • 20 alternating dumbbell snatches
  • 20 pull-ups / jumping pull ups
  • 24m dumbbell overhead walking lunge
  • 20 alternating dumbbell snatches
  • 20 chest-to-bar pull-ups / pull ups
  • 24m dumbbell overhead walking lunge
  • 20 alternating dumbbell snatches
  • 20 muscle-ups / chest to bar pull ups

Time cap: 15 minutes

Everyone Can Do This Workout

Just because you can’t do pull-ups yet doesn’t mean this workout isn’t for you. We’ll always have scaling options so everyone can come in and get some.

And you never know what can happen with a little competition pressure — maybe this is the day you get your first pull-up! 💪

The Open is simply a snapshot of your fitness right now, so we can see where you are today and have a clear idea of where we’re going next.

I’ll be at the gym starting at 9:30 for anyone who wants to come in early and get in some extra warm-up and prep before we kick things off.
